Katy Perry would like to put rumors to rest over her friendship with Rihanna.

Although reports would have you believe the two are no longer friends over Rihanna’s relationship with Chris Brown, it’s just not true.

On Rihanna’s 25th birthday (February 20th) Katy tweeted…

“HAPPIEST 25TH BIRTHDAY to my baby girl @rihanna! I wish I could b there drinking Mai-Tais & telling haters to eat a d*ck w/u! <3 U.”….

The rumors emerged following Rihanna and Brown’s Grammy Awards reunion. Although Rihanna and Perry would typically be spotted together in true Grammy Awards fashion, this year, the two were not.

Media outlets reported the two had a falling out over because Katy disapproved of Rihanna’s reconciliation with Brown.

But if Perry and Ms. RiRi are still on speaking terms why weren’t the two besties spotted together Grammy night? Perhaps, it’s because Perry was hanging with her leading man that night, John Mayer.
